Community
in Christ, Cornelius,
dedicates Montagnard Ministry Post
On
May 6, Community in Christ,
Cornelius,
dedicated a Montagnard Ministry Post. Pastor
Travis Norton reports, "We have had an outreach
tutoring ministry with the Montagnard (refugees
from Vietnam) community in North West Charlotte
for five years and now we are establishing a
semi-permanent base in an apartment complex where
many of them live. From here we will continue to
do tutoring, offer online classes, teach ESL, do
weekly Bible studies and catechism. Our hope is
that in the coming years we can raise up leaders
within the Montagnard community and gradually hand
it over to them completely." For information
contact Pr.
Norton.
