Our Leaders
The North Carolina Synod is blessed with hard-working leaders in congregations all across the synod. Some leaders are officially rostered by the greater church, some are paid staff and some are volunteers. The NC Synod is committed to supporting these leaders in their many areas of ministry.
Rostered Leaders
Rostered leaders in the ELCA are ordained pastors, associates in ministry, deaconnesses, and diaconal ministers. Each has followed a specific course of study, been approved by their home synod's candidacy committee and called to serve in ministry. Learn more about rostered leaders here.
