Mike Holt at Calvary, Concord has started a college student devotion time using Google Hangouts. Once a week they gather online to check-in, pray and share a short devotional time.

LYO is this weekend. Please hold this event in your prayers as we gather for "You are Enough." Our annual Lutheran Youth Organization Assembly for 6-12th graders will feature music by Agape and Rachel Kurtz - back for a repeat performance.
Every congregation of the NC Synod is able to send one youth (confirmation to 17) or young adult (18-30) to our annual synod assembly. Be part of this historic year when we elect a new bishop. Registration opens in March. Be there!

My commitment to passing on faith includes helping congregations equip families to be places where faith is talked about, shared and deepened. I have the priviledge of spending time with some amazing young people. Our synodical youth events span the ages from 3-12th grade while also including young adults - YARPs (Young Adult Resource Persons) where my goal is to train them to serve our congregations.
