Kimball Lutheran Church in Kannapolis,NC will be hosting Bishop Elizabeth Eaton on Saturday April 26th from 4-6pm to meet with Youth and Young Adults across the NC Synod. Come and hear a little about the Bishop and the ELCA's vision for Youth and Young Adults in the church. The ELCA Malaria Campaign is turning this day into a special week, observing World Malaria Sunday on April 27. The goal is to raise $250,000 -- enough to start malaria programming in Namibia. and when you give a gift between April 25 and May 2, your gift will be matched. My commitment to passing on faith includes helping congregations equip families to be places where faith is talked about, shared and deepened. I have the priviledge of spending time with some amazing young people. Our synodical youth events span the ages from 3-12th grade while also including young adults - YARPs (Young Adult Resource Persons) where my goal is to train them to serve our congregations.
