Saturday, September 27th is our annual Lutheran Youth Day at Lenoir-Rhyne University. GO BEARS! The day begins with a 3:15pm check-in and includes dinner in the cafeteria and an LR football game. Contact Emily.Heaberlin@lr.edu (828.328.7382) to register your group. Cost is $8 and includes dinner and your ticket. Registration deadline is Sept. 22nd at 5pm.
Ready to bring your calendar, great ideas and plan what faith formation looks like in your context? We've set aside a day at the synod office to do just that. Join us on September 29th from 9-3pm for a fun day with colleagues stealing, I mean borrowing, ideas.

My commitment to passing on faith includes helping congregations equip families to be places where faith is talked about, shared and deepened. I have the priviledge of spending time with some amazing young people. Our synodical youth events span the ages from 3-12th grade while also including young adults - YARPs (Young Adult Resource Persons) where my goal is to train them to serve our congregations.
