Event Description

On Thursday, November 11, at 7 p.m., be sure to join the Racial Justice Network (RJN) and the Engage the Bible Task Group for the concluding panel of the “Dialogues on Race” study they have hosted this fall. The panel features “Dialogues on Race” author and Director of Racial Justice for the Minnesota Council of Churches, the Rev. Jim Bear Jacobs, who will be joined by the Rev. Kermit Moss, a professor of theology at Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary; Jill Y. Crainshaw, Vice Dean for Faculty Affairs and University Ombudsperson at Wake Forest University; and Taina Diaz-Reyes, former Hunger Advocacy Fellow for the ELCA and current doctoral student in sustainability at the University of Arizona. The Panel will be moderated by Dr. Katherine Shaner, New Testament professor at Wake Forest School of Divinity and an ELCA pastor.

The Racial Justice Network (RJN) event is available at no charge to all network members. Not a member? Join today and engage in this important conversation of the intersection of race and faith—beginning with the Panel via Zoom. Participants will not need to have participated in the “Dialogues on Race” course in order to join.
