Beth Eden, Newton, out in the community

Beth Eden, Newton, worked on several community projects for “God’s Work, Our Hands Sunday.”

The results are:

  • 139 care kits completed for Lutheran World Relief
  • 160 lunch bags prepared for the Corner Table
  • 44 bags of cookies were delivered to each of three fire local departments and the Newton Police Station
  • the group working at the Corner Table did a week’s worth of volunteer work
  • the children of Beth Eden and their parents worked at the Eastern Catawba Cooperative Christian Ministry  distribution center
  • 31 baby blankets were crocheted
