Children’s Ministry Microgrants
$300 microgrants are available through the North Carolina Synod’s And God Says It Is Good Lilly Endowment grant! Microgrants support inclusive, accessible, and engaging faith formation for children ages 3–10 at church and at home. Congregations must match the $300 grant with $300 from their own budget, fundraising, or a Thrivent Action Grant.
Funds may support:
- Children’s books and Bibles
- Fidget or sensory-support baskets
- Children’s music resources
- Take-home materials for families
- Other ideas that help your congregation support and include all children
Applications are reviewed, and decisions are made within two weeks.
A Good & Beautiful Gift
Each child, without exception, is uniquely created in the image of God—a bearer of the fingerprints of God! And God says each child is a good and beautiful gift. These milestones will help you explore God’s good creation alongside the children in your life.
