All active rostered ministers and SAMs are required to participate in annual boundary training. This year, we will offer an onsite (in-person) boundary training immediately following Fall Convocation on Wednesday, October 15, at Lutheridge (the site of Fall Convo). Come for Convo and stay for Boundary Training!

A Note from Pastor Cassie on Boundary Training!: The North Carolina Synod is excited to be part of an ELCA pilot program for boundaries training, which is online and self-guided. You will be able to complete it at your own pace and according to your own schedule. (1) Sign up using this link, making sure you use the email address you will use to log in for the training. (2) Within a week or so, you will receive an email from the ELCA giving you access to the program. (3) Since this is a busy time of year, you will have until Saturday, January 31, 2026, to complete this training. (4) Our office will receive confirmation that you have completed your training, and you will receive an email with verification of completion so you can report that to any partner agencies who might need it.
