Called by God and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, Liz Dinkins will be ordained to the Ministry of Word and Sacrament on Friday, August 28 at 5:30 p.m. at Lutheran Church of the Epiphany, Winston-Salem. The Reverend Emily K. Hartner, Bishop of the North Carolina Synod, ELCA, presiding; Deacon Brittany Perry, preaching. Clergy from all traditions are invited to process. (No albs required; collars and/or stoles are welcome.) The color of the day is red, attendees are welcome to wear anything that brings them joy. A reception will follow worship.
