Called by God and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, Miriam Schmidle will be ordained to the Ministry of Word and Sacrament on Saturday, February 14 at 10:00 a.m. at Reformation Lutheran Church in Taylorsville. The Reverend Emily K. Hartner, Bishop of the North Carolina Synod, ELCA, presiding; The Reverend Kathy Mueller, preaching. All rostered ministers and candidates are invited to vest and process; the color of the day is red. A meal and fellowship will follow worship.
