Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Boone, NC is seeking a passionate and experienced Director of Congregational Life. This full-time position is responsible for leading and supporting deeper engagement in regular faith formation activities for all members of the congregation: worship, education, service, fellowship, leadership, etc. Preferred candidates will have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience; a basic understanding of Lutheran doctrine; exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; experience working with youth and children; and the ability to complete SafeGatherings.com background check and recurring training.  Primary responsibilities include being present on Sunday mornings to engage with and build relationships with congregation members; developing and, when necessary, directly leading events, activities, and service projects for children, families, youth, and adults.
