Called by God and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, David Eugene Kluttz will be ordained to the Ministry of Word and Service on Saturday, February 14 at 2:00 p.m. at Morning Star Lutheran Church in Matthews, N.C. The Reverend Emily K. Hartner, Bishop of the North Carolina Synod, ELCA, presiding; Deacon Wendy Roberts, assisting minister; The Rev. John Mouritsen, preaching. All rostered ministers and candidates are invited to vest and process; the color of the day is red. A reception will follow worship. David has been called to serve as deacon at Holy Trinity, Charlotte, where he will be the Minister of Outreach.
