St. John’s, Taylorsville

On Sunday, September 13, the congregation of St. John’s, Taylorsville, was blessed to participate in God’s Work, Our Hands. Sunday. For the third consecutive year, they have moved worship from their sanctuary to a local nursing home, Valley Nursing Center. The residents also participated by requesting songs to sing together. And, a definite highlight: their youth played xylophones. Two of St. John’s youth said, “This worship service is their favorite of the church year!” The adults added, “We were blessed to participate in the ELCA’s annual day of service.”
